Havanese Secrets - For Havanese Owners Or For THose Who Want One!

We currently have 2 bichons and 1 havanese. Our last two (1 bichon and the havanese) were rescues. We would never purchase another dog again though we did donate $750 to havanese rescue to acquire our pup and $300 to a local shelter to acquire a 3 y.o. bichon. Unfortunately there are too many abandoned and abused dogs in this world, purebreds as well as mixed breeds. People who really love animals can do something wonderful for themselves and for these unfortunate creatures by providing them with a loving home and giving them a second chance. They may not be perfect to begin with, and usually come with some baggage as a result of their previous environment, but they soimehow know that you rescued them, and given a little time will trust you and bond with you.
